What is Arpeggio Farms?

A worm farm dedicated to the reduction of organic waste by producing a high quality soil amendment through the use of worms.  Unlike most of our competitors, which primarily use cow manure, we primarily use post consumer waste and still produce a higher quality product.

Quality of worm castings is the key to reducing waste.  More than half of the waste produced by people is paper and cardboard.  Although these products come from trees, they are heavily processed and are nutritionally poor for your soil.  Paper products act as a aerator of soil more than they do a feed for your plants.  Over the past 10 years, Arpeggio Farms has tested and created a formula that uses more than 50% paper and cardboard, yet has enough nitrogen, phosphate and micro-nutrients to ensure healthy plants.

  • Where is Arpeggio Farms located?

It is centered in the heartland of Iowa south of Mingo, about 20 miles east of Des Moines.
